Peli Can Can Finished

Well I have finally finished this pastel. I will be having it framed to enter the Pastel Society of Australia Winter Competition. I had been thinking of adding a scant piece of sandy beach for them to stand on but I think it is probably better without. My next pastel will be horses!! 1. It was well worth the wait Sally, I love their feet, they remind me of ladies stockings in that colour. Post another pic when it's framed, sometimes it is nice to see a portrait framed as well.

  4. Caio thankyou for visiting my blog and admiring my paintings. I do love cats and Frisky is very special his behavour is almost dog like. He loves to play games and waits at the gate for us to come home. I have just visited your blog and I love some of your portraits. Some of them appear so three dimensional they look like sculptures leaping out of the page. do you do your self portraits using a mirror or from a photo?
