Ruby Tuesday Pastel Portrait

Here is an incomplete stage of Ruby Tuesday. I have work to do all over such as ther ears, the mane, the fringe, the eyelashes and the brown hair in the face.   1. Sally this is quite a masterpiece already, I think this is your best so far and it's perfect! I'm so messy with pastels, how do you work so tidyily?

  2. Thankyou Karie! I do wash my hands alot especially when I am using dark colours but I also use a mahl stick so that I can do detail without smudging.

    when you sent me this work in progress of my beautiful Ruby Tuesday, it simply brought tears to my eyes. Thank so much for catching her beauty and spark so intricately. You have done an amazing job of my darling girl..

    I cannot wait til I have the finished product taking pride of place on my main wall in my house.

    I will definately be ordering at least another two (one of my older horse special horse Blaze, and one of my husbands doberman.)
